Thanks, Rod. Poorer resolution at less than specified maximum size was what I was concerned about. I may just have to use giant icons and large windows text size.I'm looking to order on the internet, so it isn't possible to check out the machine in person. But it sounds like it would be wise to go to my local Staples and look at a screen in 1280 size to see if it will be possible to see the blasted thing easily.
