because up until the other day I had never even heard of Imus, and now all I know is that he has a radio show and was on MSNBC(?). I don't condone hateful speech in any way, shape or form and am all for everyone learning to have a little more common courtesy and respect in all communications; however, I am aghast that this is the biggest news item in the country.Out of 22 minutes of news this morning, 13 were on Imus and 4 were on Larry Birkhead. Then they had some nice but extremely brief "anecdotal stories" about a bomb going off in the green zone and servicemembers' tours in Iraq being extended from 12 to 15 months.
I know, I have unreasonable expectations.
