Remember my last one? If so, you need a life more than I do.
With most video cards the size of the display is adjustable. But I have seen a few laptops where only one size was available, the old 800 X 600 acreens, I believe. Don't all the machines with 1024+ displays offer bigger (meaning smaller) displays as an option? I'm looking at a 1280x800 machine but I don't want to use anything over 1024 as a display. It would be horrible to get a machine and discover a magnifying glass was needed to use it. It's a Compaq V5000 that's being considered in this part of the desert.
