at 6 pm, Calif time, I was in a merciless struggle over a few hundred $$USD in the price of a car at the Toyota dealer. Got a Toyota RAV4 Sport... 269 hp V6, 4WD, mooning roof (altho that would be an awkward driving position), Pacific metallic blue. Mostly my wife's drive, but I think I'll take it out to the wilderness with my camera gear soon.
traded in the Jag xjr, which will be missed, altho not gas milage or the smell of the garlic olive oil that soaked in the passenger seat/carpet and was on track to start stinkin with the summer heat to begin soon. The RAV should get close to 30mpg.
