Man what a beautiful morning the sun is shining….

Moreover, it is going to be beautiful day as well with a forecasted temperature of 15degC (50degF). My son and I will be heading to Long & McQuade pro shop to buy tubes for his guitar amplifier as the old ones are getting too tizzy sounding for his taste. He is looking at the NOS RCA 6L6 GC matched quartet tubes of which he hope are going to be much better sounding than the Russian stock tubes that came with it.

While there, I might as well look at some of the NOS KT-88 and or KT-90 power tubes for my Audio Research power amp and some 6692 for my Sonic Frontiers SFL-2 pre amp.

Yup it’s gonna’ be a good day but not in my wallet.
