as to me such concepts have always implicitly meant that there is some group standard or cultural implication involved...I have always been happier in understanding the reasons for my own opinions, rather than feeling any necessity whatsoever of obtaining any form of group approval from like-minded folk...
This is probably just yet another case of "different folks, different strokes"...
