a couple of meters of rather expensive tone-arm wire (not retrievable) - which promptly led me to briefly consider corporal punishment. I went for a long walk instead.
Which brings me around to the view of a certain comic I used to work with. He would ask, "Why do we call them the "Ex"? Shouldn't they be the "Y"? As in "Why the F#*K did I ever marry her/him in the first place?"
