I couldn't decide on a subject title to go here

I was thinking either, "Anybody ever had some audio gear thrown away by somebody else" or "This really killed the warm fuzzies I was enmeshed in".

I've been helping out this friend of my boy's with some inexpensive pieces & got him a great deal on a Sony receiver. Since I know an electronics tech, I got it fixed for $40.00-that was the entire cost of the unit. I had sold him a nice vintage Sherwood earlier but this was replacing it & I was getting back the Sherwood to use as a tuner/preamp in my garage system. I also gave him a Denon receiver but the tuner didn't work, but used it as power only w/the Sherwood.

So he tells me tonight that there's a problem getting the stuff back to me-his dad threw them out.

At least a wasp didn’t sting me today. Sorry Timbo.
