……..To be honest I forgot I had even mentioned it. :o)Yeah I bought two new trail bikes & updated the helmets, gloves, boots etc.
They have been here maybe two weeks now? (I can’t remember exactly) They are run in and I’ve changed the oil and tightened everything up a couple of times.
My 13 year old now beats me on his new 125cc dirt bike when we ‘race†around a little course (about 700 - 800 metres around) I have pegged out. The damn kid scares the hell out of me as he has no fear. I don’t push him as I worry he will just ‘go for it’. I actually do the course on a time trail basis about the same or quicker than him but I have yet to beat him racing one on one. The power-to-weight-ratio advantage he has over me is huge but the main thing is his no fear approach ( I don’t mind admitting it scares me – that he might get hurt)
So yeah, the bikes are going great thanks.
