When IE7 came out I downloaded it at work and was saddened to see that it was essentially a copy of Firefox. It seems to me that MS has begun to play catch-up instead of leading the pack (if they ever truly were), and the creators of Firefox should feel proud that MS felt threatened enough to copy their design.One thing I like about Firefox (and I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong in my illusions/delusions) is that it seems to generate lees pop-ups and "crap" than IE. I don't know the "techie" term for it but it has been my experience that Firefox seems more secure, or less hacker-prone, than IE. In other words, I look at it like a lock on my door where my neighbors have none. Why make it easier on the crooks? Bad analogy maybe, but there you go....
I, too, went Firefox awhile back based upon many recommendations I received here and elsewhere, and I, too, have never looked back.
