Thanks. I lean towards rye in old fashioneds and Manhattans to dial back the sweetness just a bit. Also, I used to sip whiskey neat (except for the occasional old fashioned) until an emergency gut surgery at the end of '23. My tastes changed a little and now I'm all about the cocktail. I've added several cocktails to my arsenal since then.

The wife and I had what turned out to be the perfect appetizers with our pre-Super Bowl cocktails - cheesy puff pastry batons and Iberico ham from Spain.
