Whining, swan dives and other inappropiate topics get moved here.

his posts, technically, are about audio.

1. His posts definitely "push my buttons," but I don't want to, nor do I think that his posts should be moved because he "annoys" anyone. IMO, - as long as people aren't abusive, and the thread doesn't become abusive, and the post is about audio, - it should not be moved. Any one of us, or any group of us have no right to dictate content, - within the rules of this forum.

2. His arguments and reasoning are poor, and his grammar and use of the English language are poor as well. Again, - this is no reason to cut him out. It can be a challange, - (sometimes it's just too easy), - and entertaining to refute his poor reasoning.

3. It is annoying when some of his posts seem to invite discussions that he doesn't want to participate in. As he said, - he doesn't want to enter into a debate that he has no chance of winning. I think that is unfair but, - it's his personal choice, - as there is no "rule" saying that someone MUST debate, or participate in this forum. This often appears "troll-like" to more than a few people here.

4. Too me, this is another argument for "forced registration." This is only my opinion, but this forum is a lot more fun and educational when people participate. There is no, and probably should not be a rule to force folks to participate.

I think that the big question here is, - is Sane Audiophile a really good troll? If so, we should pressure him to participate or not answer his posts. I think that registration does help trolling a little bit. I don't think that we should move or delete his posts because he "annoys" most of us.....
