How about a personality obsessed round earth audiophile whom has spent years studying the journals of AS and Stereophile who has learned all the hifi verbiage and annoints himself an audio guru dispensing equipment recommendations and feels himself in a unique position to indoctrinate new audiophiles into the hobby. This round earther is publicly embarrased by his own comments by an on the ball well spoken flat earth audiophile. The mother hen round earth phile searches for and finds the flat earther and starts killing off his family members one at a time. The detective in charge of the case is a vintage audio fan launches a plot and contracts in a DIYer to build a custom set of loudspeakers for the flat earther as part of the plan. When the round earth audiophile kills the flat earther he is so sickened by the sound of the custom built loudspeakers and the flat earth system he switches it off - and as designed by the DIYer nails shoot out of the tweeters into the eyes of the fixated audiophile killer ending his miserable life. The DIYer and the vintagephile become lovers and live happily ever after with their large Plinius amplifier, Teres TT and homebrew loudspeakers.
