LaVorgna is clearly full of shit. He claimed that the difference was easily heard. And then he goes on to say that he would never participate in an ABX test. And this is because he knows damn well that he couldn't correctly identify the $340 AQ cable from an off the shelf $10 cable.
If he's so willing to write that the AQ cable is so easily detected why won't he sit down and prove it? IMHO Mike L is a gutless wonder who espouses nonsense...
