Re: Toshiba SA-775 receiver

This was Toshiba's entrance into the Massive Stereos You Can Weld With wars back in the mid-70s. Like all those war toys, it was well over 100W/chl with *lots* of bells and whistles plus those huge cabinets. Functionally, it was there, for sure, but sonically (IMHO) it was just another big, honkin' box. I believe there was a subsequent model before the whole big-box, high-wattage receiver craze gave way to the massive inflation of the late 70s.
