Assuming you're going to be doing true stereo recording, I'd suggest a pair of cardioid small diaphram condensor mics (You'll need a phantom power supply, and perhaps an impedence transformer). Shure 81, Neumann KM184, and similar mics in the Audio-Technica line are good starting places. Try to get true condenser as opposed to electret-condenser microphones.Good luck.
