Re: What Speakers for Sherwood S-7200 ???

32 W/ch should be enough with EPI-100's or Advents to give you quite loud sound in a good sized room. Some while back I used a Pioneer SX-990 with KLH 17's and later a pair of Advents in a 4000 cubic foot room. The SX-990 is 30 W/ch and compares pretty well to the Sherwood for dynamic headroom. It played loud enough that conversation was not possible unless you yelled. You'd have to go to at least 60 W/ch to hear much difference in sound level and that's only + 3 dB.
