No matter what you pick, you need to measure the RIAA curve on the phono preamp. In the 60's and early 70's toillerances on these were pretty sloppy and a great deal of the difference between them is simply that the frequency response is noticeably different. Being + or - 1 dB off from the standard RIAA curve is not at all uncommon.Jerry
