Re: Cleaning - what to use? CAUTION

Discharge all caps, and yes unplug it.
Start with a dry paint brush and remove and loosen anything you can. Watch out for fine wires etc.
Blow it out with compressed air while using the brush. Remember eye protection.
NOW REMEMBER THAT SOME OF THESE INKS ON THE CHASSIS AND DIAL GLASS ARE WATERBASED OR EASILY REMOVED. TEST WHERE IT DOESN'T MATER. TEST AGAIN. Make sure their are no parts that would be damaged by water.
Spray it down lightly with Windex from a spray bottle, use a paint brush wet with Windex, an old toothbrush, and Q tips for the tight places.
Wipe off whatever you can with dry rags.
Spray down lightly with water in a spray bottle, and do the Q tip and paint brush routine again.
Dry off again and repeat step 7.
dry off and let dry in a warm area. Outside in the sun is good.
Dry buff with a soft rag to remove the haze and get the shine back.
