Re: Recomendations on Marantz receivers.

Hi,

The problem with Marantz stuff is it's often NOT plugnplay...lamps go out and their controls get dirty easily. You definitely want to get a unit that's been restored. I know of no one better at restored Marantz than a guy named Shain on eBay...heck, even the present Marantz company bought one of his units! Do yourself a favor, if you want to buy a vintage Marantz, check out his auctions or email him.
