Well, there are several ways to go. Before you use anything, unplug the unit and let it sit for a couple minutes before opening the cover, and once open, stay clear of all capacitors as they store energy and can shock you even days after the unit has been unpluged.First and the safe route, is canned air with you can get at any office supply outfit. Be sure to hold the can upright as it will spew out fluid if you turn it up side down, and that fluid may be conductive, a bad thing, so follow all instructions on the can.
If that does not satisfy you, you can get an electronics parts cleaning spray, Radio Shaft should have something. The problem with these are that while most say they do not conduct, they may, and most can be harmful to some plastics as in some film caps... Again, follow the instructions.
The electronics spray will certainly get things cleaner, but...
Best Regards,
Lou
