Marantz 10B Dial Lamps

Hi, everyone.

The dial lamp on my 10B has failed, and I need some advice on how to get to it and change it. As far as I know, there is just one dial lamp. BTW, the stereo lamp works.

I removed the case behind the faceplate and saw an array of fasteners and brackets. There are two round metal protuberences, one on each side of the faceplate. Lamps may be in there or maybe not. Each has a spring-loaded device, but I cannot figure out how to get to it, much less make it work.

That is as far as I got. I have not tried to remove the black plate behind the faceplate.

Is this as complicated as it looks? Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance, and Happy Holidays.
