Yes, I had looked at the EICO group on Yahoo, and in fact had downloaded the 2536 schematic from that site (I have one of those as well in my "collection"). Lot more going on under the hood on that one, and figured I ought to take some baby steps first.... I had seen a post somewhere about the AF-4, but hadn't pulled that one off to see how close it is to what's inside this one. It is actually a stereo unit, one 6BQ5 a side, and it does have the big tuner dial.....I was hoping to avoid the brute force approach, but my have to go that route.
