I'm assuming the BIC tunable antenna is the FM BeamBox model? These were great -- despite the cheesy-looking woodgrain contact paper on their boxes. The woodgrain units show up quite often at flea markets, garage sales, and on eBay and I have a few -- would love to have the better-looking black plastic model, which are harder to find.
In terms of pulling in stations, they beat my more expensive indoor antennae (TERK, etc.) hands down. Excellent for areas with poor reception, including basement rooms. Nice score.
