JVC JL-B31 - Any fans?

I have a chance to pick one of these up for my second system, to replace a Hitachi HT-353. The JVC looks considerably more susbtantial, just wondering if anybody has an opinion on the stability, tonearm etc. Worthy upgrade or should I save my pennies for something better?
