How to repair this faceplate?

Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

I am trying to find out if there's any way to hide these scratches on this old Emerson tube radio. I tried dampening them to see if they would disappear and they don't I'm not sure if there are any products that would blend them in?
