Got this preamp last year and started rebuilding it via some of Michael Samra's suggestion. However, in hooking it up to a pair of Heathkit monoblocks, I noticed a substantial buzz in channel B, scoping it shows a 120hz signal riding on the audio, indicating a power supply issue. The power supply has been totally rebuilt, and the preamp makes no noise in tuner or aux channels. Any suggestions? I do note in the 195v section which splits and feeds A and B channels separately that the 120hz is in the B channel and not the A channel. Also wondering if in rebuilding by stringing the grounds from cap-to-cap that I am introducing hum into the power supply? Thanks!
