Picked up a pair of NS-670's locally and cleaned them up and upgraded the binding posts. No need to mess with the crossovers, they almost never fail. Very engaging for what they are, hooked up to my Marantz 2270. Excellent build quality from Yamaha. Yamaha Engineering basically had a blank corporate check when they developed the NS series in the mid 70's.
I'm sure the entry level NS-4's are decent too.
