I did buy a Citation 1 for $10 at a garage sale, but it was almost 20 years ago. Some kid was selling his dead uncle's stuff. He threw in a tube set from a Citation II, but for some dumb reason he had tossed the amp. I also picked up a Transcriptors Vestigial tonearm for $2, so I think I did o.k. The kicker, however, was I saw the kid a week later. He said he found 4 Citation II unbuilt kits in a locked closet, but some guy bought them all for $200. The kid thought he had made a great deal (as I am sure the buyer did as well.)
