RE: Crossover Cap. Replacement

AFAIK, PTFE dielectric parts suitable for this job are not available. Also, PTFE needs DC voltage on it to "run in".

The 1st order of business is determining the cap. value(s) to be used and the amount of space available. If the amount of space is small, it may be necessary to use non-polar 'lytics. That would not be disastrous, as modern 'lytics are BETTER than the old stuff. I know for a fact that Panasonic offers non-polar 'lytics and Panasonic 'lytics enjoy a very nice reputation.
