PS - why they are Dangerous loudspeakers

There's a lot of confusion on this important question. Younger audiophiles who grew up with hard rock seem to think the name means they are dangerously loud. NO!! (Though they were used at Abbey Road studio) And they don't catch fire easily (knock on mdf.) I recall seeing EMI ads in audio mags of my youth, and the idea was that they would ruthlessly expose the colorations in your other equipment. They were an early example of the British accuracy-first school exemplified by Spendor, Rogers, Harbeth, Celestion, and B&W among others.
It's never too late to turn back the clock.
