RE: Recapping Subwoofer Plate Amp.

Neither of the two I sited was anywhere near $400, but I know what you mean. The complete subwoofer I am using cost $35 from a thrift store. It is a down-firing ported 10" that was sold at AudioAdvisor at some point. It works very well, but I need a subwoofer for my home theater system, so I am considering reviving the M&K.
