Try this

The black and black/white are your primaries.You plug an AC cord into those wires and then plug it into your variac and then set your variac to half of your measured line voltage.Put your meter on your highest AC volts setting and start measuring.I tell you put it at half just for safety and then just double the readings you get.Take a reading on the green and green and white wires which I assume are 6.3vac.At half setting,they may read close to 3.8vac as they are unloaded.Then try the the blue which may be another 6.3vac tap.You can also measure resistance between the wires..Not while it's plugged in of course.
