Do you use the Brick on your Threshold?

They were always a bit pricey for me. As is the Shakti at $200 each. Many moons ago, I made a DIY version, but it was not as effective. Most folks don't know how to "use" them properly either - as in place them directly over a power transformer. There's one on ebay now. You see it sitting atop the signal chassis of an ARC SP-11. Huh? That model used a toroid in its power supply chassis anyway!

Note that the Bifrost at $450 isn't exactly high end. As for Vincent, note what comes on the MK version here. Yep, that's an R-core like you find on all the top ARC models today.
