No disagreement there

I'm with you on classic Threshold products. I still enjoy my Stasis 3 which celebrated its 31st birthday in February. It serves daily duty in the garage system in fair weather.



I was objectively commenting on what the VPI Brick was designed to do - and the reason why it is largely irrelevant today with the widespread use of superior transformers with one-tenth the stray magnetic fields.

I can put my ear on the speaker and here no noise.

Sorry, but that's not the sonic result of untrapped EMF. It's not that you hear obvious noise through the system. The stray fields erode transparency especially at the top end just like garbage on the AC line does. What is lost is subtle detail.
