RE: What paint did you use?

You are correct. I purchased Quickrete Epoxy paint kits specifically designed for concrete garages. It consists of nearly a gallon of paint, epoxy activator and acid based cleaner for etching.

The greatest amount of work was on the front end. First, you clean the surface of all grit and scrape off any spilled paint or other imperfections. Then you thoroughly spray the floor with a garden hose and section by section, you apply the acid to prep the concrete. Scrub vigorously, then rinse each section. Rinse again thoroughly after application, squeegie the water and let dry for a day. Then you mix the epoxy paint mixture and paint small sections at a time. Sprinkle color chips while still wet.

The recommendation is to wait 72 hours before driving on the surface. I waited a week just for good measure.
