RE: McIntosh 275 vs. {2} McIntosh 225's

Although the larger Bozaks were in production for many years and were probably at some point in time "voiced" with Mac tube equipment, a lot of things changed over the years including the design of all the drivers.
By the late 1960's or early 1970's there were no tube amps in Mr Bozaks "lab" and he favored solid state amps to power his speakers and he was an advocate of biamping the larger ones.
