RE: McIntosh 275 vs. {2} McIntosh 225's

Thanks for the response. I do need to have the 225 gone through. McShane's kit sounds like it might be the ticket. I'm just waiting to buy another 225 and have them both done at the same time.
The single 225 would probably do well with the Klipschorns but I think it would be a little weak powering the CG's. The 275 is plenty of power for both type speakers. What would I being giving up{or gaining}going from a KT88/6550 powered single 275 amp to a slightly less power 2 x 225 set-up with 7591's? Bass, Mids, Highs, soundstage etc. etc. Better/Worse/Different??
