RE: McIntosh 275 vs. {2} McIntosh 225's

I run my McShaned Citations in mono on the big martin logans from 75cps on up...Normally I wouldn't run mono but the extra power is nice at times but not really necessary being I use a powered bass system.
Being you are running very efficient speakers,one mc225 will work just fine..You could upgrade like this with the citation 2 kit and it drops right in and you don't do any cutting..This particular one had the filter cap rivets drilled out by someone so I did put clamps in..Anyway,any of these upgrades can be reversed but,these amps blow right by the stock units in every way.This will give you that fullness and added transient duty to handle the heavy passages.
