Home Vintage Asylum

Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

Now, factor in the cost of restoration tooling....

and you'll get a completely different answer. Used to restore old English and German sports cars back in the early 90s. Machining tools, lubes, welder, air compressor, etc. It adds up fast. Not to mention old car parts!

Suffered through a house fire caused by a vintage Karmann Ghia to the tune of $1/4M.

Been to that mountain and came back - with some soot on my face. Audio is just fine by me these days. Much lower cash outlay for the hobby.

Cheers,

David
