RE: Fisher KX200 runs too hot

Are you able to bias it normally? You might try a lower idle current. I would drop the 7591 grid resistor value from 270K to 150K and up the output coupling caps from .047 to 0.1 uF. But this won't help unless you have a tube with grid leakage (rumor has it that modern ones have a bit more leakage than the old ones did).
