RE: Kenwood KR 2600--any opinions?

I had one a few years back that I picked up at a thrift store. My Mother used it for awhile, until she heard my Sherwood S-7200 on her set up. I wound up giving it to my Uncle who at the time had a modern 90s Marantz receiver that took a nasty surge and lost all it's back lighting on it's LCD display. He like the Kenwood better as he could see the dial and he liked the sound of it.

I always though it was in the neighborhood of 20 WPC. It did have a nice sound and good kick. :-)
