I have had both the 730 and the 430. Both are excellent, and I opted to keep the 430 (the 730 had a few minor issues with it).
I have seen the argument that the 730 is the best, and then I have seen some folks say the 430 is the best. Both are nearly identical in performance if you ask me. You just get the added convenience of two sets of inputs with the 730 (2 aux, 2 tape, 2 phono, etc.)
