I love finds like that

Simply because you can usually get them for a song and there's a 50/50 chance you'll find a pristine piece under the dust. Seriously, the first Dyna Mark III that I ever owned looked like that. It was sitting on a book shelf in the original owner's den. Gave it a good cleaning and found NO rust pitting in the chrome and a set of beautiful-testing and sounding Mullard KT88's. Of course, it all has to do with humidity control. I suspect a piece that has lived in a garage may not be so fortunate, but you never know. It's like unwrapping a present! Sorry, no pics. After waiting for several years for a mate, it went off to epay to fetch a nice ransome.
