one question

being new to tube tuners, what should the optimal tuning point look like on the tuning indicator tubes (EM84 in this particular unit I think)? I read somewhere that they should overlap in the middle to form a bright line. Right now, with the strongest local station the two bars are not touching . . . . there is still a gap between them. This local station is very strong and comes in loud and clear pretty much everywhere and with this tuner. Should I be concerned that the bars are not overlapping? Again, I haven't done anything to this tuner, so perhaps I should re-seat all of the tubes and spray a little De-Oxit in the sockets (I read in another post that this helped, even though everything looked good).
