I bought a Luxman CL35MkIII new from Copley Camera and Stereo in Boston. In the early '90s I had a lot of problems with the quality of the tubes I was buying and put my tube gear up for sale. A guy from Brooklyn gave me $350 for the 35. I thought that was a good deal because the pre was fifteen years old. Mine was in true mint condition.
Now I see mint ones selling for $1500. That hurts bad.
I have a long list of audio regrets.doggy
