Golly both comet and tommy are correct here..Thats a tough decision because even tho Im not a big pioneer fan,I know the spec 1,spec 2 ganered a lot of respect thru the years because of its build quality and rarity compared to most pioneer gear.
Personally I would take the mac if I had to choose but thats a tough one because if you look at what the sansui solid state tuners like the TU-x1 and a certain kenwood model bring 3 or 4k,it makes you wonder if the higher quality vintage japanese gear is finally making its way into mac and marantz territory price wise.I figure the amps may follow like the spec 2 but its speculation.
