These are some sweeeet and detailed sounding amps. Many a Triode aficionado would be enamored of their sonics, proving that there is certainly more than one road to get to the HiFi Avenue.
If the trannies measure the same DCResistances and Henries, then the cases are just diff versions that were available. There were 260 and 260A models, and now we know there are variations among those numbers. Please let us know what Grommes says. I would love to hear from the source.
Chicago made some of the finest hifi trannies, but not enough audio inmates realize this fact. Enjoy the Grommes beasts...
