Right now, I listen to them with 200Wpc power amp and they sound amazing. Although they are cheap today, they are NOT the speakers for a budget system.Back in 1972 most of the people used mid-fi receivers and budget amps with not enough power to drive them properly. Although some 600 000 were shipped, many A-25s were trashed by clipping.
I guess that you changed them because you blamed them for other equipment shortcomings.
