Will I die if I open a multi-section can capacitor?I'm working on a Pilot SA-260 restoration, and plan on replacing the multisection cans with under-the-chassis Sprague Atoms.
The problem is that I would like to leave the can caps in place to preserve the appearance of the amp. There is some "goo" leaking out of one of the cans, so I would like to empty it out and leave the casing.
Any help would be apreciated.
